Nina, what do you do at the bookshop?

I'be been the Inventory Manager for over 2 years now.

What's your favorite thing about your role here?

I get to do the buying, reeciving, and bookselling, so from ordering a book to putting it in a customer's hands, I get to be a part of every step!

What’re your go-to genres? I am all over the place! I love general fiction and science/nature but mystery & romance are my comfort reads, while politics & current events are my rage reads.

What are you reading right now? Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar

Favorite Book Quote: "Christopher Robin said you couldn't be called Trespassers W, and Piglet said yes, you could, because his grandfather was, and it was short for Trespassers Will, which was short for Trespassers William."

What was the last book you read? Hard by a Great Forest by Leo Vardiashvili

What do you eat when you read? Everything, unfortunately.

Best drink to sip while reading: Coffee :)

Favorite format for consuming books: I like a physical book to abuse (or love, depending on how you look at it).

When do you read/How do you make time to read? Before bed, which is not great for my sleep schedule, or I listen to books while running. Nothing like a good thriller to pick up your pace.

Describe your ideal place to read: On my living room floor in a puddle of sunlight.

What book do you think everyone should read? Crossings by Ben Goldfarb

Preferred method of bookmarking: I am a monster, and I am very ashamed to admit that I am a notorious dog-earer of pages.

Someone you've read about with whom you want to be best buds: Becky Chambers -an author, not a character- but I love her brain.

Do you read alone or with company? I usually have a couple of dogs and cats on top of me.

What book have you re-read the most? All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot

What  book has challenged you the most? I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou

Favorite Childhood Book: The Trolls by Polly Horvath

What book have you not wanted to end? Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir

Quick! Recommend a book! Dead Silence by SA Barnes - atmospheric space horror, so creepy and good, I read it in one night.

What meme best describes you?
