Born in Los Angeles, Maddie is an identical twin and began her (short) career as an actress at 6 months old appearing on several TV shows such as ER, and Desperate Housewives, an Aflac commercial and was a season regular on the classic soap opera Young and the Restless for 2 years. After moving to Durango in 2012 when she was 4, Maddie took up alpine skiing and horseback riding. When she’s not navigating the distant planet of High School you can find her crocheting, playing the piano, paddleboarding with her mom and sister, occasionally lounging on a beach chair on the French Rivera when visiting her father, and of course, nestling up with an amazing book! Maddie loves to read almost any genre of books but her favorite is YA!  Maddie is honored to be able to represent youth in the workforce and be a part of the Maria’s Bookshop family.
