Jane enjoys holding a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Fort Lewis College as well as her dachshund, Piper, to keep her warm in the winter months. In the warmer months, you can find her near running waters with her fellow river rats or cutting a rug at live bluegrass shows. Of the many jobs she has had, working at the Dolores Library is her most treasured.

"I assure you, Berendt's description of the characters he meets in Savannah, Georgie is accurate. His experience of them is unorthodox, eextravagant & larger than life. I know Savannah well & know to experience this culture there is something special & indeed like no where else."
"I try to life my life according to the message I learned in this book 30 years ago. When things get hard, or scary, or sticky...you've gotta go through it!"
