Sara moved to Durango from East Texas in 2008 and has called it "Home" ever since. She has an Associate's Degree in Journalism, a Bachelor's Degree in writing, and a love for all things fiction. When she's not walking around town with her nose stuck in a book, she is probably hiking, biking, running, drawing or baking something sweet.
This is definitely my favorite book of 2020 so far! An incredible examination of identity, family, the choices we make and their life-long effects. So well-written! I couldn't put it down!
This one just made me smile. It took me out of our crazy world for a little while and plopped me down on this weird little island with a group of magical misfits. Klune has created a delightful and heartfelt story that I dearly didn't want to leave.
This was quite possibly my favorite book of 2019! Elizabeth Gilbert had so much fun with this story and with these characters. By the end I just wanted to know the main character, to sit down with her and to have her tell me her story all over again.
These stories surprised and delighted me. They cover a spectrum of loves and view them from such fresh and surprising angles. I dearly hope to see more story collections from Mr. Bob-Waksberg
This one is a great look at the relationships between humans and animals, the importance and realities of mental health, the quirky culture of burro racing, and so much more. A great and endearing adventure of a read.
I have read this one twice and absolutely love it! It is just the spark you need to get reinspired and to find the courage and creativity to take your life into your own hands, no matter what phase of life you find yourself in.
Anthony Marra has woven together an incredible tapestry of stories here. Each chapter stands alone as a powerful and beautiful moment in and of itself. But when viewed as a whole, you find yourself examining a story that spans nearly a century and connects so many lives.
