Portia D. Sykes

Portia D. Sykes has lived in Chicago and rural towns, worked in film/TV, practices nutrition and natural pain management, and has been to all 50 states and across Canada (with punk bands). She lives in the Four Corners area with her husband, two children, a petite grey tabby and a wicked cool Ragdoll cat. Learning about the rapidly disappearing “window of opportunity” to positively impact the changes in our climate and ecosystems motivated her to study the science, the solutions, and to devise ways to survive and thrive.
