Julie has called Durango home for over 20 years, before which she lived in Chicago where she was a writer/producer for a public relations firm. When she's not straightening out the childrens' section in the shop, Julie is home with her husband and three cats, running with her golden retriever, or sending care packages to her daughter at graduate school. She collects vintage childrens' and cookery books, and tries to keep up with requests for her hand knit slipper socks.
