Support local literacy this holiday season through the Third Annual Families Helping Families Holiday Book Drive. 

Stop in the shop to select a card off the holiday book drive tree; each card features information about a child served by the Family Development Program of the Family Center of Durango.  Booksellers are happy to provide guidance and suggestions for gifts for that particular child, and Maria's Bookshop will offer a 15% discount on all book drive purchases.  The books will be wrapped and presented to the children at their annual holiday party on December 16th.

We're hoping to provide books for 75 children this year, thanks to the generous support of our community!

Once again, we'll be rolling out the Discount Dice this year for Noel Night!  Give them a roll for 5% to 20% your entire purchase of anything in the store, all day long.

From 6:30 to 7:30, author, photographer and editor Steve Larese will be on hand to sign copies of Durango Perspectives, a great choice for holiday gift-giving.
